Welcome, from our Lead Practitioner
Hi everyone! My name’s Amanda Carlin and I’ve been working as an in early years practitioner for 11 years, joining the team here at Little Beehive Nursery in 2011. I work in early years because I find it such a rewarding job, I love making a positive difference in children’s lives. It’s amazing to be part of the journey children go on when learning and exploring through play.
My vision for the nursery is to ensure that all children have a happy and safe place to play and learn. To encourage and promote outdoor play, learning and development through natural resources and open-ended play. To develop strong partnerships with the local community, outside agencies and to support and promote children’s rights. I am currently studying for my BA in childhood practice at Edinburgh University which I’m due to complete this April.Nursery Registration No: CS2003006974
