Little Beehive Nursery group acquires Little Einsteins Kirkcaldy

We are delighted to announce that with the help of Christie's & Co Little Beehive Nursery group has purchased Little Einstein’s, Sang Road, Kirkcaldy.  The newly purchased nursery will be transformed, with an eight-week renovation programme, into a modern open-plan provision with capacity for 92 children ages 0 to 5 years.

Little Beehive Nursery have a pre-existing facility located at Balfour Street, Kirkcaldy and we plan to merge the existing Little Beehive nursery into the newly modernised facilities at Sang Road. 

We will be retaining the premises at Balfour Street and transform it into a dedicated afterschool and holiday provision as part of" The Hub Club", the growing primary age afterschool facilities also part of the Little Beehive group.

The eight-week renovation process will see the Sang Road provision re-open in time for the start of the 2020/21 academic year, with hopes that the nursery will become a landmark in the heart of Kirkcaldy.

"I am thrilled to have the Sang Road provision join the Little Beehive Nursery group.  When the offer was brought to us by Christie's we knew it was something we were interested in and after viewing the property it seemed like a perfect match for our ethos and brand.

From the first viewing, we saw the potential the space had and our goal is to create a modern child centred provision encouraging free play between areas of the room to give the children of the freedom of choice and encouraging learning through play.

There is a lot of work required to get it up to the Little Beehive standard but I am excited to get the renovation project moving."

This purchase will be the 6th facility in the Little Beehive group, providing care for over 500 children in Fife & Angus.
