Green Flag success for Little Beehive Nursery as three Nurseries take home the prestigious green flag.

Strathkinness, Montrose and most recently Cupar have now successfully accomplished their green flag.

Director Carol had this to say, “Its an amazing achievement for all the nurseries who have their flag so far and it's all down to the hard work of everyone involved in the Eco-Schools committee so we would like to thank them all!”

Strathkinness achieved theirs in early 2018, followed by Montrose in early February 2019 and most recently Cupar in late February 2019.

“It's important to us that we teach the Children of the nursery the importance of being green, and it's amazing to see how involved they become when we start the eco-school journey!” Carol continued.

Eco-Schools is a global program engaging 19.5 million children across 67 countries. Fife has 222 schools registered with 67 green flags awarded, and Angus has 87 Schools registered with 20 Green Flags.

Newport and Kirkcaldy Little Beehives are both registered and working their way towards their green flags, we can't imagine it will be long until we have 5 flags to our name!
