Ask for Freda
24th June 2021

We've been supporting ICUs and Hygiene Banks around the country, now we want to support you too!
In 2018 we started to offer free sanitary products for all the Little Beehive team and have continued to do so, however, when COVID struck and the majority of our team were furloughed, we didn’t want them to go to waste!
Freda contacted us, and we are delighted to say that over the past year, we have been helping supply ICUs and Hygiene Banks around the UK with free sanitary products!
Three ICUs of the NHS Trust – Guys and St Thomas, Brighton and Sussex University Hospital and NHS Wales have all received some of our Sanitary products as donations via Freda.
The donations were Coordinated by Dr Josie Cheetham who set up SOS boxes in the ICU units to support the hard working doctors, nurses and support staff of the hospitals.
They also made their way into free hygiene boxes put together by The Hygiene Bank Barnet available for free to anyone who requires them.
Since we have reopened, we have started to receive the Sanitary Products back at the nursery, not only are these available for Team Members within the service, they are also available for any parent/carer who might have forgotten their supply in the morning, or if you’ve been caught a little unexpectedly and need some on pickup – just ask the team for “Freda” and they will see what we can do!
