Hi everyone! My name’s Amanda and I’ve been working as an in early years practitioner for many years, joining the team here at Little Beehive Nursery Kirkcaldy in 2011. I work in early years because I find it such a rewarding job, I love making such a positive difference in children’s lives.
My vision for the nursery in Kirkcaldy is to ensure that all children have a happy and safe place to play and learn. To encourage and promote outdoor play, learning and development through natural resources and open-ended play. To develop strong partnerships with the local community and outside agencies. To support and promote children’s rights.
I recently finished my BA in childhood practice at Edinburgh University and I find it amazing to be part of the journey children go on when learning and exploring through play.
